Character sketches. My objective: to create credible black caricatures evoking a time period when few were doing them.



2/3/12: Last year, I did two comics adaptations of short plays by Zora Neale Hurston, Harlem Renaissance author. The first, FILLING STATION, appears in the current volume of the GRAPHIC CLASSICS series, titled AFRICAN AMERICAN CLASSICS. You can find out more about it, and order it, at the GC website.
